Lenormand · the 36-card picture oracle
Lenormand cards
Thirty-six simple pictures read like sentences. Ask a question, lay a spread and get a plain-English reading with timing and next steps.
Your card in the deckPick either one: it stands for you, and the other card for the key other person.
A quick sentence: the subject, what is happening, and where it leads.
The daily card, both lines and the 9-card box are free. The 36-card Grand Tableau is part of Plus.
How Lenormand works
- Simple pictures, concrete answers. Each of the 36 cards is an everyday image: a rider, a house, a key. Lenormand is known for practical, down-to-earth answers about people, news and events.
- Read in pairs, like a sentence. The first card is the subject and the next card describes it. The Heart followed by the Ring is love turning into a commitment; the Ring followed by the Coffin is a contract or bond that ends.
- Spreads grow with your question. One card for the day, a line of 3 or 5 for a question, the 9-card box for a whole situation, and the Grand Tableau with all 36 cards for the big picture.
- Playing-card insets. Every card carries a small playing card in its corner (the Rider is the nine of hearts), a leftover from the parlor game the deck grew out of.
